The latest in virtual reality rides could be showcased when the theme park industry gathers for its big annual trade show.
About 32,000 people are expected to attend the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ expo that kicks off Nov. 14 at Orange County Convention Center.
Often the latest inventions are kept under secrecy before being unveiled during the expo, IAAPA spokesman David Mandt said.
But IAAPA, which has 5,300 members in about 100 countries, is expecting some companies to show off VR “in new and different ways” based on what’s been happening recently in the industry, Mandt said.
