Last Fall, four members of our FabLab community graduated from Fab Lab Academy and, it is with a lot of pride that we would like to introduce them, and their projects, to you.
From Fab Lab Ajaccio, meet Gérard Bantini
Gérard is passionate about science, graphical design, computer programming, electronics and astronomy. He also loves building things … He studied Electronic maintenance in High School and taught himself computer science. Today, he teaches people about computers, and on his free time helps the Fab Lab Ajaccio.
For his final project, Gérard decided to put two of his passions together and built a make his old equatorial mount a smart one! His goal is to add a motor, a connection to a computer and to a stick to remove all the bother of aligning the telescope.
