Last week, state legislators gathered in Des Moines to celebrate science, technology, engineering and math at STEM Day at the Capitol. This annual event, now in its seventh year, serves as a showcase of Iowa’s “hands-on, interactive and student-focused learning innovations,” including more than 30 projects chosen as STEM Scale-Up programs by the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council.
