Lixie Digits, Segmented display, Fablabconnect, Fab academy
Lixie is the modern version of the popular Nixie tubes. Lixie employs WS2812B RGB LEDs placed beneath the 3D Printed base. The segments are engraved on 3mm transparent acrylic sheets. Lixie can be joined together in a chained fashion.
Applications:
- Lixie can be used as a CLock
- Lixie can display temperature
- Cool 3D GIF
- Interesting displays as counter, website views, Alpha Numeric and etc.
