3 Days Startup (3DS) Imbabura is a free business workshop-contest of 72 hours that takes place at Innopolis Entrepreneurship Center of the City of Knowledge Yachay, which goal is to supply participants and university studens with business skills with a practical methodology.
This event takes place between the 8th to the 30th of October with the participation of 40 young entrepreneurs from Tulcán, Ibarra, Otavalo, Quito, Ambato, Cuenca, Riobamba, Manta and Guayaquil. They will present their projects and knowledge in this area, will receive talks about generating business models, be in touch with potential clients and will also be demonstrating to a selected group of mentors and investors.
Gabriel Romero is a Systems Engineer graduated from Catholic University of Ambato that will present his project at 3DS. His idea consists in universalizing the interfaces of payments that are made online, focused on the seniors. Happy to arrive to the event he said “Yachay events are very interesting. I try to get the highest return on knowledge. I came to learn and I’ve seen that my mates’ profiles allows us to complement abilities.”
Rebeca Choes, a medical student at the University of Guayaquil, decided to undertake in the technical field with an application that solves problems with technology products, 24 hours a day. Enthusiast for this encounter she claims “in City of Knowledge millions of minds get together with millions of ideas and you don’t know what you can find here. I want to take on with a global vision”.
One of the event’s mentors is David Montenegro, a Software developer with a master’s degree in Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship, who also has a wide experience in several business, ventures and international events. He along with three mentors are facilitators and guides for the entrepreneurs.
