Filament Recycling Extruder, Recycle and Reuse, Waste Material
Anyone who has the experience of working with 3D Printing has found that there are some waste in filament. So this project is about a Filament Recycling Extruder to recycle the waste materials and reuse them again to save in cost and conserve the environment. The idea behind this project is to introduce a functional with reasonable priced Extruder which can be affordable to be used by the FabLab community and sold to others outside the community.
The idea behind this extruder is to enable the Fab community to build their own extruder for recycling filaments at low cost instead of buying a large one with high cost so they can recycle the filaments to cut cost of raw materials and to save pollution of the environment. As there are many waste materials from prints that are faulty also the support materials. As FabLabs over the world have FDM 3D printers so it’s advisable to have such an extruder.
