Last Fall, four members of our FabLab community graduated from Fab Lab Academy and, it is with a lot of pride that we would like to introduce them, and their projects, to you.
From Fab Lab Yachay, Diego Bustos.
Diego is a mechanical engineer who focuses on digital fabrication but has very broad interest, from heavy structure to domestic appliances.
Over the year, he has developed a curiosity about languages and cultures, and that allows him to follow the innovative projects from all over the world.
Diego’s final project for the Fab Lab Academy was the Dust Cleanator. He developed this automated vacuum with in mind the idea of helping people with respiratory difficulty or diseases. Every piece of his prototype was developed in the Fab Lab: from the 3D-printed plastic tank, to the electronic circuit, and not to forget all the parts made on the printers-cutter.
