> How many Fabbers came
FAB 14+ was not just about the fabbers, it was about all the people interested in this new world of digital fabrication and how to make almost anything. We had 1,044 participants during the Fab City Summit in Paris (July 12-13, 2018), 123 participants during Fab Distributed all over France in 8 different sites (July 13-14, 2018) and for FAB 14 in Toulouse 1,359 participants during the conference and Festival days (July 15-21, 2018) with an average total participation of 2,000 attendees on 8 days of activities during FAB14+ France.
Participants or attendees include Speakers, Workshop and Working group tutors and general Public. Most of our public where foreign people from the more than 1.300 fab labs around the world.
Compared to last year participation in FAB13 Santiago, Chile, we had double the participation of attendees during the week event (FAB14) and we can say that we have triple the number if we combine the 3 events during FAB14+ France. but nothing will overcome the 21.897 participants that assisted the Free Festival in Santiago (GAM, statistic reference)
